Galway International Arts Festival 2015

Galway International Arts Festival is the Festival of extraordinary experiences, a creative collision of performance, music, visual art, theatre and spectacle. The Festival is Ireland’s largest arts festival and took place from 13th July – 26th July 2015 and will take place next year  from 11th-24th July 2016.

The Festival has become a vital showcase for Irish arts internationally and is now firmly established as Ireland’s leading arts festival.

Since 2013, the Arcana team work closely with the festival managing the following departments: Operations, Artist Liaison and Volunteers.

Over 200,000 people attended this years festival’s 365 performances talks and exhibitions held across 26 venues, in addition to the thousands of people who enjoyed the spectacular Skywhale that took to the skies of Galway, one of the undisputed hits of the Festival.  The Festival Gallery on Market Street enjoyed in excess of 25,000 visitors alone.
